Helping Our Students Thrive—In 2025 and Beyond

Psalm 18:2

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Lutheran High supporters,

Our senior class selected Psalm 18:2 as the theme for this academic year. In this verse, the psalmist boldly describes the attributes of our heavenly Father. We’re reminded that the LORD is our rock, shield, and stronghold. Unyielding in His presence and unwavering in the shelter and safety that He provides.

What confidence, what reassurance, what hope this verse gives those who cling to this truth!

Lutheran High is blessed to be a place that brings this truth and hope to the young people in our care. It’s a place where our core values of Spiritual and Academic Growth, Servant Leadership, Building Character and Purpose, and Authentic Relationships inform our actions and shape our students. LHS is a place where your support makes a difference. Your gifts strengthen our ministry and help us provide a Christ-centered, Lutheran education to hundreds of students each year.

Thank you for supporting our mission and helping us bring God’s children closer to their rock and refuge.

To offer your support through prayer

Lord of all, Your Son declared that if His disciples ceased praising Him, the very stones would cry out. Thank you for continuing to preserve Your Word among us. Even in a world that opposes Your name, grant that we joyfully declare Your praise.
We give thanks to You, O God, that as You establish our hearts blameless in holiness before You, You also provide for all our needs in this body and life. Hear our prayers for your servants and your children at Lutheran High.
God our Father, You have loved and chosen us according to Your mercy and called us through the living voice of Your Word. Grant to us the Spirit of Your grace, that what You have begun in us may be brought to completion when Christ appears in His glory on the Last Day.

Amen
