Student Learning Resources

Through a collaborative partnership between Lutheran High School and the Lutheran Association of Special Education (LASE), we have two special education programs to accommodate the unique needs of students with diagnosed learning and/or medical disabilities: The Academic Lab Program and The Learning Center.

The Academic Lab Program

The Academic Lab Program helps students develop essential academic skills while providing structured support for coursework. An Academic Lab Program teacher monitors individual plans 504, etc. and assists students, parents, teachers, administration and outside professionals to facilitate successful completion of high school.

The Learning Center Program

The Learning Center Program is for students who need additional support and includes curriculum modification, smaller group instruction and other accommodations. Students needing direct instruction in math and/or communication arts can take 1-2 classes within the Learning Center tailored to their needs.
