Empowered by Christ: Stewardship Across Generations

With voices united our praises we offer and gladly our songs of thanksgiving we raise. With You, Lord, beside us, Your strong arm will guide us. To You, our great Redeemer, forever be praise.

Our gym was filled with joy as we welcomed more than 400 grandparents and special friends to Grandparents Day 2026. It was a morning dedicated to celebrating the profound role these special people play in the lives of our students and witnessing how the Holy Spirit moves within our school.

More Than Buildings: Stewardship in Action

Dr. Kuhlmann shared a heartfelt thank you to the many members of our LHS family whose stewardship through the Empowered by Christ campaign has transformed our campus. While we celebrate the modernized classrooms and upgraded science labs, we recognize that these physical spaces are tools to bring our mission and values to life.

Voices of the Future

A highlight of the morning was a panel discussion moderated by Bella, where students shared how these donor-funded improvements have enriched their daily lives. From connecting with friends in the new Cougar Café to building authentic relationships in the renovated Commons, our students are thriving in environments designed to fuel both their education and their faith.

“To see that there are people that have donated to the school that are not related to any of the children that go here shows a heart of goodness and humbleness… The people who donate here really want to see improvement in children.”

Securing the Future

The Empowered by Christ campaign is about more than just the present; it’s about enriching the future of the LHS mission. By investing in these spaces, our friends and families ensure that generations will continue to walk these halls and grow in their relationship with Christ.

We are deeply grateful to our grandparents and donors. Your investment is not just in a building, but in the mission of Lutheran High to help our students Grow and Serve in Christ.
