Empowered by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we nurture spiritual, academic and personal growth, equipping our students for a life of Christian service.
LHS community,
At Lutheran High, our mission is not a slogan. Our core values are non-negotiable. And what happens in our classrooms, hallways, practices, rehearsals, and conversations matters.
Thousands of students have graduated from LHS, and many times, we may never know how the Holy Spirit has worked through the ministry of Lutheran High …
And, sometimes…
We do.
“Before I set foot on the campus of LHS, I had no idea what a Lutheran was.”
“I barely understood what it meant to be a Christian, and sure as heck didn’t know about the love of Jesus or how He can change our lives. I was struggling in so many ways — physically, emotionally, and especially spiritually.”Â
“But here I am, a decade later: I am a baptized, confirmed, confessional Lutheran.”
“I’m a graduate of a Lutheran university. I’m a certified Lutheran church worker and work for the North Dakota District of the LCMS.”
“I am married to a Lutheran pastor.”
“We have a daughter with whom I have the honor of praying and reading Bible stories every day. I get to take her to church every week to hear the good news that Christ died and rose again for her.”
“I would not be here – maybe not even alive at all – if it were not for the love and care of Lutheran High.”
“My teachers, staff, and friends boldly shared the Gospel with me, a dumb punky teenager with weird-colored hair.”
“Thank you for the work that you do to keep LHS going, and most of all to keep it Christ-centered, for the sake of kids like me who otherwise might not get the chance to know Jesus.”
Dana, class of 2016
This campaign isn’t about buildings—it’s about bringing students closer to Christ. We are blessed to be part of Dana’s story, and Empowered by Christ will help us create the spaces that further our mission.
