Cougar Connection: Nominate a Deserving Individual for the LHS Hall of Honor

LHS Community,

Since its establishment in 2012, the Lutheran High School Hall of Honor has served as a way to celebrate the rich heritage, faithful leadership, and enduring impact of those who have shaped our school. Through this recognition, we honor alumni, athletes, coaches, teachers, and community members who have made significant contributions to LHS and lived out our mission to Grow and Serve in Christ.

At Lutheran High, our mission and core values: Spiritual & Academic Growth, Servant Leadership, Building Character & Purpose, and Authentic Relationships guide everything we do. The Hall of Honor is one tangible way we celebrate individuals who embody these values in their vocations, service, and leadership. Their lives reflect what it looks like to live with purpose, serve others, and use God-given gifts for His glory.

As our school continues to grow, so does the number of alumni, supporters, educators, coaches, and friends who deserve recognition. That’s why we are inviting our community to submit nominations for the 2026 Hall of Honor.

Individuals may be nominated in the following categories:

Alumnus/Alumna – A graduate who has distinguished themselves in their vocation, service, or leadership after leaving LHS. Candidates must be at least ten years post-graduation.

Athlete – A former student who demonstrated excellence in athletics at LHS or beyond. Considerations may include conference, district, or state honors, collegiate participation, or professional achievement.

Coach/Sponsor – An individual with at least ten years of service at LHS and ten years of overall experience, whose leadership and impact on programs have been significant.

Legacy – Someone who has made outstanding contributions to Lutheran High or the broader community. No time requirement applies to this category.

We would be honored if you would prayerfully consider nominating a deserving individual. Nominations are open through March 15, 2026. Click here to nominate someone.

In Matthew 25, Jesus shares the Parable of the Talents, reminding us of our call to faithfully steward what God has entrusted to us. Our Hall of Honor members are living examples of this truth—using their gifts, influence, and opportunities to bless others and advance God’s kingdom. As Scripture reminds us, “For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance.” (Matthew 25:29)

Thank you for helping us celebrate those who continue to shape Lutheran High School through faith, service, and leadership.
