United in Christ, on and off the field.
In 1 Corinthians 1:10, the apostle Paul states, “Be perfectly united in mind and thought.” Jesus calls us to be perfectly united in Him; but when we fail, as we sometimes will, we look to the common thread that unites us all, the forgiveness Jesus showers on all of us.
The LHS softball team focuses on developing team unity and a spirit of family. Coaches and players desire to develop softball skills, discipline, work ethic and unity. Ultimately, their desire is to develop young women of strong Christian character, preparing them to live their lives to the glory of Jesus Christ.
Coach Brandy Bethany
Coach Bethany comes to the Cougar program with valuable experience coaching youth softball. She studied Business Administration at William Jewell while being a four-year letterman in softball, earning All-Conference accolades in 1999 and 2000. Coach Bethany lives with her husband, Corey, and their three children—Jalen, Mya and Tatum—who are all proud LHS alumni.
