Lutheran High School began a new chapter in its history on Thursday, June 14, with a formal groundbreaking ceremony for additional classrooms and a new gymnasium. The 27,970 square-foot addition will include an additional science lab, music and STEM classrooms; a larger gym; lobby, locker rooms, bathrooms and a concession stand.
During the week of October 8th, a 500-ton crane was used to tilt the majority of wall panels up and into position. The construction crew will now pour more wall panels, and the crane will arrive back on campus in early November to raise the final wall panels and begin installing the steel components of the structure.
We have currently received over $2.5 million in gifts and pledges to achieve the “Celebration” goal of the Reach Campaign, and we look forward to continuing our efforts towards the $4 million “Challenge” goal and ultimately the $6 million “Victory” goal of the campaign.
