|Murray State University Racer Days – For a complete schedule of each Racer Day or to make reservations, visit murraystate.edu/racerdays.
|Missouri Western State University – in St Joseph, MO had a number of special visit days planned for the year. See the flyer in Student Services or go online to Missouri Western|
|Northwest Missouri State University – in Maryville, MO has a number of visit days scheduled throughout the year. Check them out at NWMO State|
|Tulsa University Visit Days – Tulsa University is offering a special visit day for high school juniors who are interested in learning more about TU. This event will take place on Monday, January 16th (which is a day off for LHS). Learn more about the program, and sign up at TU Up Close. They also have a day in March for students interested in STEM and Health Sciences on Thursday, March 23rd. Check that one out at STEM|
|Webster University Preview Days – Webster University will offer four Preview days for students and their parents to tour the campus and talk with faculty, admissions staff, and financial aid staff. The dates are: October 3rd, November 7th, December 9th, February 20th, and March 24th. Sign up at Webster Preview.|
|University of Tulsa Visits for Seniors – Tulsa will host two overnight visit programs for current SENIORS: November 13-14, 2016 & February 19-20, 2017.

|ACT Prep Class at Webster University – Webster University offers three one-day ACT prep classes. For a fee of $50, you spend a day at Webster learning strategies for taking the ACT and improving your scores. The fee includes your lunch. Dates this school year are: November 19th, January 21st, and March 11th. For more information, or to register, go to Webster ACT. Each date is limited to 65 students.|
|Sept. 14||Career Day with Fox2 and KPLR11 at Busch Stadium – Joins us for Career Day at Busch Stadium September 14th – featuring a pre-game presentation with executives from the Cardinals front office and Westminster College, as well as Fox2 and KPLR11 personalities and production executives. A prefect program for students who want to learn about a career in sports or media.
Wednesday, September 14th – 10:30 AM Program/Panel Discussion. 11:15 AM College Fair, 12:45 PM Cubs vs Cardinals. For $15 you receive entry to these events PLUS a free hot dog, soda, and chips. For more information, go to Cardinals
|Sept. 14||College Informational Sessions – Join admission representatives from Emory University, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Virginia for a group presentation. Learn more about academic programs, student life, admission, and financial aid at these institutions. There will be time for questions and to meet representatives at the end.

|Sept. 20||Discover Duke – Duke University Admissions officers will present information and answer question about the university, the admissions process, etc. Please join us at the MICDS (Mary Institute and Country Day School) Brauer Auditorium in the STEM building starting at 7 pm. |Oct. 18||DePaul University – A DePaul representative will hosting a visit at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Richmond Heights from 7 – 8:30 pm.|
|October – March||UMSL Bridge Program – The Bridge Program Saturday Academy is held the first two Saturdays of each month from October – March. The academy provides 10 intensive Saturday sessions for students in grades 9-12. The curriculum emphasizes mathematics; science; written and oral communication; career research; personal and professional development; and college planning. |Oct. 7||Manufacturing Day – Manufacturing Day℠ is a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. Although Manufacturing Day officially occurs on the first Friday in October—this year is Oct 7, 2016—any day can be a Manufacturing Day. There are numerous locations in the St Charles/St Peters/St Louis area. Go to MFG Day to learn more and register for an event.|
|Oct. 21||Maryville University Academic Visit Day – Friday, October 21, 2016 (a day that LHS is off from school) has been set as a visit day by Maryville University. Students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on experiences with faculty and current Maryville students in the following programs: College of Health Professions, School of Business, Design and Visual Arts, and Pre-Health, Science, and Engineering. |Nov. 3||MU Engineering DayCurious about what engineering is like in college? Learn about different engineering disciplines through hands-on activities and talk with professors and undergraduates in engineering fields. MU College of Engineering Day is Saturday, November 5th. |Nov. 11||Learn about Actuarial Science – RGA ReInsurance is hosting a High School Actuarial Info Day on Friday, November 11th from 9:30-1.
The event is aimed at high school students who may have interest in pursuing actuarial science. Several full-time RGA actuaries as well as current interns will give presentations followed by a panel Q&A and an informal lunch. Since lunch will be provided, we will require that any interested students RSVP no later than Friday, October 28th to reserve their spot. RSVP to Kat Broom at firstname.lastname@example.org
