New Spirit Coach @ LHS for 2017-18

March 17, 2017

LHS families,

As you may know, LHS will offer a new program in 2017-2018 known as the Spirit Squad.  The aim of the Spirit Squad is to promote and spread school pride at LHS through dance, cheer, and performances. At various events, both on and off campus, the spirit squad will encourage and boost the pride and the tradition of LHS through the unification of the students, staff, alumni, and fans.

As with any new program, we must hire a new coach to lead this program.  We are excited and proud to announce the hiring of Mrs. Kathy Nolle as the new Spirit Team head coach for the 2017-2018 school year!

Coach Nolle brings extensive knowledge, experience and Christian leadership to the Lutheran High Spirit Squad program.  Coach Nolle coached cheerleading and dance at Zion Lutheran School for the past 4 years.  She developed and transformed the Zion cheerleaders from a small group of girls into a group of 15-20 hard-working, dedicated and talented group of young ladies who took pride in performing.

Coach Nolle attended Truman University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in music.  She lives in the St. Charles area with her husband Craig and 2 daughters Lauren (junior at LHS) and Madi (will be a freshman at LHS in the fall).   She has taught piano lessons out of her home for the past 25 years and is also employed by Beyond Components as their human resources manager.

Coach Nolle plans to launch a new beginning with the spirit squad full of Christian excellence, teamwork and success for the future.  Lutheran High is thrilled to have such a qualified and exceptional coach leading the program.

We look forward to Coach Nolle leading the Spirit Squad next year!
